FRED host organizations have done a great job recruiting guest readers/speakers for their FRED series - including mayors, police chiefs, TV/radio personalities, sports coaches, school principals and superintendents, children's librarians, and dads from their local programs. When I asked a FRED coordinator how she was able to attract public figures for her FRED event, she stated "I just called them and asked."


So please share your stories about recruiting guest readers and speakers for your FRED series.
